Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernández, identified Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Pedri as the two players that helped his team defeat Real Madrid 4-0 during Sunday’s LaLiga El Clasico 4-0 win.
Xavi said Aubameyang and Pedri helped Barcelona with ‘high pressure’ as Real Madrid lost in front of their home fans.
Aubameyang’s brace and a goal each from Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres gave Xavi’s men all three points against the Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Xavi praised Aubameyang and Pedri for helping Barcelona.
He said: “We played a very complete match, much better than Madrid, much superior.
“The high pressure was very good, with Aubameyang, and also with Pedri helping a lot.
“We knew how to play against them, we created many chances, we knew how to attack them, we played a great game. They attacked us in the last 20 minutes, but that can happen when you are four goals ahead.”
