Although many Nigerian music fans might disagree, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage say they are just best friends.
The pair put out the relationship tag via Instagram posts uploaded within the same hour on Wednesday.
The singers have been the major topic of conversation among Nigerians on social media following the release of Wizkid’s ‘Fever’ video.
In the steamy music video, the artistes were handsy, all over each other and inseparable.
The video added more fuel to the never-ending speculation that they are romantically involved.
Reacting, Savage had earlier posted an update about their relationship on her Instagram Stories.
It read: “Your relationship does not need to make sense to anyone except you and your partner. It’s a relationship, not a community project.”
While fans were trying to link her comment to the much-talked-about video for ‘Fever’, she issued a more direct response by means of another Instagram post.
Savage expressed love for Wizkid, adding that that are “best friends till the end”.

In a similar vein, Wizkid described the video as a “movie with my best friend”.He wrote: “This one is special to me. Made a movie with my best friend. #Fever official video.”
