Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Aloba, 27, died last Tuesday and was laid to rest on Wednesday.

The circumstance surrounding his death has continued to stir up controversies on social media.

In now-viral footage shared on social media, supporters of the former Marlian Records signee could be seen in large numbers demanding justice for the deceased singer.

The youths converged in the Panseke area of Abeokuta where they started the march in honour of Mohbad.

The protesters also held placards with various inscriptions like “#JusticeForMohbad,” #WhoOffLight and #RIPMohbad among others.

It was gathered that the protest — which caused gridlock — was under police scrutiny.

Davido earlier announced that he would be returning to Nigeria from the United Kingdom to join a candlelight procession in honour of Mohbad on Thursday.

Similarly, Iyabo Ojo, the Nollywood actress, revealed plans to lead a team of protesters on Wednesday to demand justice for the late singer.

On Monday, the Lagos state police command inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to probe the death of the singer.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos governor, also invited operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) to join in the ongoing investigation into the singer’s death.
