Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong, has dedicated his first goal in the Turkish Super Lig to his new born son.
The 25 year old defender found the back of the net for Bursaspor in their 2-1 defeat to Fenerbahce on Saturday in a Turkish Super Lig clash.
The Nigerian international connected with a great header from Yusuf Erdogan’s corner -kick from the right flank to open scoring for Bursaspor in 16th minute of the game.
Fenerbache however rallied back and eventually secured all 3 points courtesy of two strikes from Giuliano Victor and Josef de Souza.
Troost-Ekong whos wife recently put to bed executed the Bebeto carry my baby celebration after scoring and later took to social media to dedicate the goal to his son.
The defender also regretted his side’s failure to secure a point after going ahead in the game
Another Nigerian international Shehu Abdullahi, was not listed for the game amid concerns he may be injured.
Bursaspor will next take Kayserispor, in a game that will be played next week Saturday
