After Prince Harry’s eagerly anticipated memoir ‘Spare’ shared several personal details of the Duke of Sussex’s life, one incident particularly caught the eye of fans and casual readers alike.
In his memoir, the prince detailed how he once had a frost-bitten penis after traveling to the North Pole.
He made the journey as part of the Walking with the Wounded 200-mile expedition, along with four ex-servicemen who had been injured in Afghanistan.
While the frostbite affected his cheeks, ears and genitalia, the part is what caught everyone’s attention.
Trevor Noah makes the most of the Prince Harry story
Trevor Noah, famed for his run as host of ‘The Daily Show’, was chosen to host the 65th annual Grammy Awards, with the comedian using Prince Harry’s anecdote while introducing James Corden to the stage.
“James Corden is a 12-time Emmy winner and the host of ‘The late Late Show’, Noah stated.
“He’s also living proof that a man can move from London to LA, and not tell everyone about his frost-bitten penis.”
Fans react to Trevor Noah’s Prince Harry joke
Several viewers were quick to comment on the jibe on their social media accounts.
A lot of people missed Trevor Noah’s Prince Harry diss and it was funny too,” one fan said.
“Did Trevor Noah just diss Prince Harry while introducing James Cordon?’ another asked.
“Honestly the highlight of the whole ceremony for me,” was another comment.
Prince Harry has very much become a talking point in the USA, having released Netflix documentaries and his book. He has also given several interviews on US television over the past couple of years, so is becoming a household name in the USA.
Whether this pursuit of American fame was supposed to lead to such jokes at the Grammys, only Prince Harry himself will know.
