In an interview with Chelsea’s official website, Adarabioyo shared how his Nigerian heritage influenced his upbringing. “We’re very much a Nigerian family, and it was a Nigerian upbringing,” he said. “Whether that’s the food or traditionally the way we’ve been brought up, which is a bit different to how it would be here.”
Adarabioyo went on to highlight one of the staples of his cultural diet: “The food is harder, stuff like pounded yam, stuff that makes you strong!” His remarks reflect the importance of his heritage in shaping his identity.
