Nigerian music icon Tiwa Savage has unveiled her grand vision of building an empire that will solidify her place among the world’s most successful self-made women.
In an exclusive interview with Forbes Africa, the 45-year-old singer-songwriter revealed that this dream has been years in the making, dating back to her teenage years.
From Music to Business: Tiwa’s Expanding Vision
Reflecting on her early years, Tiwa recounted her passion for acting and music, which she honed through diverse cultural influences:
“When I was in school, there were basic subjects like math, English, and there were also electives like sports, drama, music – I chose drama. Even when I started my music career, I knew I was going to return to that field.”
Having lived in Nigeria, the UK, and the US, Tiwa has drawn from a variety of musical and artistic influences, which continue to shape her journey.
