Courtney Clenney, the OnlyFans model who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Chris Obumseli, to death in self-defense, already had issues with law enforcement prior to the fatal incident.
Not only was she sued in 2018 by a Texas woman who accused Clenney of causing personal injury, property damage and vehicle loss following a car crash, but she also has a pending DUI case. The 2018 Texas incident was settled out of court and the plaintiff dismissed the suit, but Clenney still has a pending court date for her DUI charge.

Courtney Clenney driving under the influence charge
Clenney was arrested September 16, 2020, in Austin, Texas for driving under the influence and is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on June 15. Bond from the DUI charge was set at $8,000 and Clenney had to install a locking device on her vehicle to measure blood-alcohol levels before being allowed to drive.
Clenney called 911 on Sunday, April 3 after she allegedly stabbed to death her boyfriend Christian Obumseli in her Miami apartment. She was drenched in blood when police arrived, but has yet to be charged with a crime and is currently out of police custody.

Courtney Clenney threatens to kill herself
Hours after her arrest, Clenney threatened to kill herself and was placed in a mental institution as a precaution, according to officials. Close friends of Clenney and Obumseli claim she physically abused him several times in the past.
On Friday, Clenney was spotted at the Grand Beach Hotel in Miami with her father. A woman staying at the hotel confronted Clenney and told her she should walk away, reminding her of the fatal incident.
Her lawyer, Frank Preito, claims Clenney was at the hotel to contribute in the Miami Police Department’s investigation of the incident. Preito says Clenney did not want to return to her apartment, where the fatal stabbing occurred.
