Joshua Zirkzee keeps courting interests from hordes of clubs and this is a transfer that could truly go down to the final hours of this summer window, Gidipoint.com report.
Anderlecht are the latest club to notify Bayern Munich about their interest in the player who spent last season on loan at Belgian side.
An entire list of clubs are after the signature of Bayern Munich striker Joshua Orobosa Zirkzee. Stuttgart, Gladbach, Augsburg and now Belgian side Anderlecht have all recently reached out to Bayern showing interest, according to Sport Bild.
The Bavarian club want at least €20 million for the 21-year-old.
Premier League sides Fulham, Bournemouth and Southampton have also previously contacted Bayern.
It’s hard to imagine clubs such as Gladbach and Augsburg putting up €20 million due to their current financial restrictions. However, that still doesn’t leave any clear favorites in this crowded field of chasers.
Even with their striker shortage, Bayern are willing to let Zirkzee go for the right price because of his expiring contract in 2023. It’s worth noting the attacker did play on loan at Anderlecht last season and greatly impressed. Zirkzee recorded 18 goals and 13 assists in 47 appearances.
