Samuel Eto’o has reportedly escaped unharmed after being involved in a heavy car crash near the Cameroonian city of Nkongsamba. The former Barcelona forward’s car violently collided with another car in the west of the country.
Reports of the incident emerged in the Cameroonian press on Saturday, with journalist Martin Camus stating that, as a precaution, Eto’o was undergoing tests to confirm he hadn’t suffered any injuries. Although the retired footballer was okay after the crash, the front of his car was completely destroyed in the accident.
