Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has sent Real Madrid a warning shot on social media just days before the Champions League final in Paris.
The Egyptian forward posted an image on his social media accounts with the awards for the Premier League’s top assist provider and the Golden Boot, which he shared with Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min, as they both scored 23 goals.
“We’re not done yet,” tweeted Salah, referring to the Champions League final.
Salah, who picked up a groin strain after the FA Cup final, is now fully recovered ahead of Saturday’s game against Real Madrid.
Salah’s revenge
The 29-year-old will have the chance in Paris to avenge the defeat against Real Madrid from four years ago in Kyiv, as he was forced off injured following a clash with Sergio Ramos.
Whilst it is not known what Salah’s thoughts on the injury are, many Liverpool fans believe that the Spanish defender injured the Reds forward on purpose as he was their most influential player at the time.
Liverpool will be desperate to win the Champions League as they missed out on the Premier League title in dramatic circumstances last weekend.
