Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has shared his perspective on polygamy, expressing his belief that it is unfair for a man to be married to just one woman.
In a candid conversation on the ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ podcast hosted by Isbae U, the celebrated actor revealed that his father had five wives, and he doesn’t see the concept of polygamy as problematic.
“I don’t have any idea of how many women want me. I feel it’s unfair to be married to one woman,” he remarked during the interview.
RMD’s statement sheds light on his personal stance regarding marriage, with the actor revealing a more traditional view on relationships. He also delved into his academic journey, sharing that he studied Theatre and Media Arts at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) and later earned two law degrees from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
