Rozay rules the charts once again. The Miami rapper scores his fifth No. 1 album with Mastermind. The sixth album from Rick Ross debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 179,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
It marks his fifth No. 1 album to date (2010′s Teflon Don debuted at No. 2). His previous album, 2012′s God Forgives, I Don’t, still holds his best week ever with 218,000.
“WE #1..EVERY ONE OF U WHO BELIEVED IN ME I PRAY U #RICHFOREVER,” tweeted Rozay.
Pharrell Williams’ second album G I R L comes in at No. 2 with 112,000. Despite the No. 1 success of his Oscar-nominated hit “Happy,” the set sold less than his 2006 debut In My Mind (142,000).
Last week’s chart-topper ScHoolboy Q falls 1-8 with his major label debut Oxymoron, which sold 30,000.
Ashanti rounds out the top 10 with Braveheart. The R&B songstress’ first album since 2008, released independently through Written Entertainment/eOne Music, enters at No. 10 with 28,000.
