“Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition,” the rep said in a statement. “She is not expected to survive.”

The statement even mentioned that the family is already preparing for organ donation, according to the actress’ own wishes.

Anne Heche wishes to donate her organs
“It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she’s being kept on life support to determine if any are viable,” the representative informed People in the statement.

This information, as well as the statement has already been reported by TMZ, which had reported the aforementioned car accident in which the actress, according to this same media, was found under the influence of cocaine and fentanyl, according to information from a toxicology test that the Los Angeles Police Department would have practiced.

Heche’s family hoped for a miraculous recovery

We want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers for Anne’s recovery and thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses that cared for Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital,” said the representative, in the same statement also reported by Deadline.

According to Deadline, the actress’ family was hoping for a miraculous recovery after the “Six Days and Seven Nights” star was admitted to the hospital where she is in a coma and on life support.
