Nollywood star Regina Daniels has once again fueled separation rumors from her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, with a recent video where she conspicuously left out his surname while introducing herself.
The actress, who has been at the center of marital rift speculations in recent weeks, further intensified the buzz when she introduced herself in an Instagram post as:
“My people, I greet you all. My name is Regina Daniels. I am from Anioma.”
This move raised eyebrows among fans, as she deliberately omitted ‘Nwoko’, hinting at possible tension between the couple.
Regina’s Cultural Showcase vs. Name Controversy
The video was intended to promote Anioma culture through her apparel brand, Regae Official, as she showcased stunning Akwaocha lace ensembles. However, the focus quickly shifted to her choice of words, with many interpreting it as a bold statement about her marital status.
Ned Nwoko Responds
Interestingly, Ned Nwoko responded to the post without addressing the name omission. Instead, he praised Regina for promoting Anioma culture and used the opportunity to advocate for the creation of an Anioma state.
“This is UGEGBE ANIOMA taking Anioma culture and tradition to the next level,” Nwoko wrote.
“Anioma state will not just be a political state. It will be about the culture, tradition, and what the people exemplify.”
While his response seemed diplomatic, it did little to quell growing speculation about the status of their marriage.
Fans React to Regina’s Omission
Social media has been buzzing with reactions, with many questioning whether this was a subtle way of announcing a split or just a harmless decision.
