Portable, the controversial singer, has publicly appealed to Don Jazzy, founder of Mavin Records, for financial assistance.
The singer’s plea came after activist VeryDarkMan revealed that Don Jazzy donated N100 million to his newly launched non-governmental organization (NGO).
In a video posted on Instagram, Portable threw shade at VeryDarkMan, alleging the activist is “fighting for himself, not Nigeria.
He then pleaded with the music producer to support him financially, rather than just using his success to motivate Mavin Records signees.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker claimed he had reached out to Don Jazzy via Instagram but received no response.
My fans, do not let them deceive you. Someone who said he is fighting for Nigeria is actually fighting for himself. That is why I am fighting for myself. My fans please ask them to send me money too, he said.
