Police shoot five suspected terrorists following overnight attack on Cambrils – Watch

As Spanish authorities continue to search for those responsible for the deadly terrorist attack on the city of Barcelona, five suspects were killed in a shootout in the early hours of Friday morning.Those shot by police are believed to be members of a jihadist cell in Spain and were wearing fake explosive belts, local Mossos units confirmed to El Mundo.

TV3 report of the incident in the town of Cambrils, Tarragona, started when a terrorist in a car injured seven people, two seriously, on Avenida de la Diputacion.

Local police advised residents to stay inside during the shootout, following on from the explosion in Alcanar on Wednesday night and the subsequent attack at Las Ramblas.
