Anambra-based Lawyer and PDP Chieftain, Chief (Barr) Jude Oguejiofor ( Ositadimma Orsumoghu) has called on Dr. Willie Obiano to take urgent steps to complete the numerous abandoned projects in Anambra State.
On top of the list is a 3-kilometer road project in Orsumoghu which has lasted for 7 years and is yet to be completed despite being fully Budgeted for each year. In a statement released to Newsmen in Awka, Chief Oguejiofor stated that “erosion is now threatening the families living in the area and many families dare not stay in their homes whenever it is raining or they would be swept away.”
“Obiano should concentrate on how to alleviate the suffering of Ndi Anambra ocassioned by his numerous abandoned projects rather than wasting his time trying to impose a successor of APGA extraction”…. the statement read.
According to the Legal Luminary, “It would amount to injustice for Obiano to hand over power to a successor with so many abandoned projects scattered around the state whereas he inherited a healthy Anambra state from Mr Peter Obi.”
To say that Ndi Anambra are disappointed with the present APGA government is an understatement. Ndi Anambra are eagerly waiting for November 6 to vote out APGA for good. Even the leadership and members of APGA are fed up with the failure of this government to deliver the dividends of democracy to its citizens. It is clear now that APGA has come to the end of the road and should get ready to leave the government house for a better equipped party to take over.”
Anambra State used to be the pride of the South East until recently when the present APGA government began to make white elephant investments rather than investing in projects that will provide dividends of democracy to the citizens of Anambra. This maladministration led to untold hardship to Ndi Anambra today. It is widely believed that the problem of APGA began when Mr Peter Obi left APGA and joined the PDP. He left APGA with people with brainpower, vision, and experience and since then less than ten percent of Ndi Anambra say they have confidence in the APGA led state government.
In 6 months time, the bad government of Obiano led APGA will give way for a better equipped government to take over. A youth friendly government that will carry women along, deliver dividends of democracy, focus on people oriented projects rather than white elephant investments, and put smiles on the faces of Ndi Anambra is what Ndi Anambra desire and deserve. To achieve this dream, the Peoples Democratic Party has identified a man with the brain power, vision, energy, competence, temperament, experience, and mental preparedness to take over from Willie Obiano and reposition Anambra State. He is Chief Valentine Chineto Ozigbo. Chief Valentine Chineto Ozigbo ( Ezego) is a man with the character, capacity, vision, ideas, contacts, and wide acceptability to reposition Anambra State, deliver dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra, and put smiles on the faces of Ndi Anambra again.
I therefore call on Ndi Anambra to come out en mass on November 6 and elect Chief Valentine Chineto Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party as the governor of Anambra State, KA ANAMBRA CHAWAPU.
