Patience Ozokwo, the ace Nigerian actress, has addressed rumours claiming she underwent spiritual deliverance.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Ozokwo described the deliverance story as fake news”.
The 65-year-old actress, fondly called Mama G, warned that the people spreading the false narrative would face legal consequences.
Don’t say I said, saw, or did what never happened. Don’t carry fake news just to get views, she wrote.
Have a conscience. Life is too short, live it well. Disclaimer!!! I have nothing to do with any deliverance story going around social media.
Those responsible will face prosecution. If you don’t see it on my verified platforms or hear it from me, then it is probably a lie.
Ozokwo started her acting career in 1998. She has starred in hundreds of Nollywood movies.
The movie star has also received several awards and recognitions.
The actress had previously called out the people complaining about her appearance, saying she is not afraid to get old.
When did old age stop being a blessing? People do all manner of stuff to cover up aging – good for them! I own my age and experience with my full chest and count it an enormous blessing, she said.
