Earlier in the day, Borussia Dortmund confirmed that an agreement is in place with the Premier League club.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed the news on Thursday, although he wasn’t totally satisfied with the fee that the German club will receive.

There is an agreement with Manchester United for Sancho,” Watzke said in a press conference.

“It was Jadon’s wish to move, we would have liked to keep him. We are not happy about the money but we are sad that he is leaving.”

Sancho played 104 Bundesliga games for Dortmund, scoring 38 goals. He also featured in 38 Champions League games, scoring five goals.

His last game with Dortmund was in the DFB Pokal final against RB Leipzig, where Sancho scored two goals in a 4-1 win.
