Juventus have officially announced the signing of Arthur Melo from Barcelona.
Although the Brazilian’s move to the Bianconeri has been confirmed, he will not be able to join the Italian club until the end of the current season.
Juventus have paid a total fee of 82 million euros for Arthur: 72m euros plus 10m euros in add-ons.
Arthur was brought to Barcelona in 2018 during Robert Fernandez‘s spell as technical secretary, but after a promising debut campaign he failed to build on that in his second year at the Camp Nou.
Now, the 23-year-old will go from playing alongside Lionel Messi to playing with Cristiano Ronaldo.
