Neither Neymar nor Alvaro Gonzalez will face disciplinary action for alleged racist comments used by the two players during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille on September 13.
Neymar was sent off in the final minutes of the game at the Parc des Princes for hitting Alvaro on the back of the head, claiming afterwards that the Spaniard has used racist language towards him.
The PSG forward himself was subject to similar accusations for alleged racist remarks made towards Marseille‘s Hiroki Sakai.
Neymar has completed his initial two-match ban for the red card, while Alvaro will not be given a suspension.
In a statement, the Disciplinary Commission of the League of Professional Football (LFP) in France stated that not enough evidence was found to prove the accusations.
