British rapper Skepta has sparked laughter online after reacting to a viral comparison between himself and convicted Nigerian socialite Hushpuppi, over a designer jacket they both rocked albeit years apart.
The drama started when an X user @DavidoPolice posted side-by-side photos of Hushpuppi wearing the jacket in 2019, and Skepta recently donning the same style in 2025, teasing that Hushpuppi was “living in the future” before his fall from grace.
Clearly amused and slightly pained Skepta responded with humor, writing:
“Lol. One thing I will teach my pikin is to never argue with a Nigerian.”
His witty reaction triggered a flurry of hilarious replies from Nigerians online:
