Kaisha, a former housemate of the BBNaija reality show, has apologised over a video clip where she and Kiddwaya, a colleague of hers on the show, appeared to have attempted kissing each other.
On Sunday, the video had surfaced where both reality TV stars were spotted drinking together at the birthday party of Praise, another ex-BBNaija housemate.
In the video, Kaisha takes a swig of the alcohol while Kiddwaya jokingly goes for her lips. But the duo had later cut the kiss out midway.
The video, however, went viral on social media, prompting fans of Erica, a female lover of Kiddwaya while they were all in the 2020 edition of BBNaija reality show, to register their disapproving remarks about Kaisha.
In reaction, Kaisha put out a short Twitter thread where she apologised and also denied kissing Kiddwaya.
“So I woke up to ‘Kidd kissed Kaisha last night ‘ How??? Oh yes I had too much to drink at Praise’s birthday party last night and I don’t remember kissing Kidd so where’s this coming from?” she wrote.
Kidd’s ritual of pouring drinks into our mouths is not new and we all know how playful he is. Kidd is like a brother to me and I have never imagined kissing Kidd! Never! It’s my fault that I was careless last night.
“I had too much to drink. My carelessness pushed a negative narrative about Kidd and I sincerely apologize for that. For those assuming on Kidd’s behavior saying he kissed me here you go… the full video. @RealKiddWaya.”
Kiddwaya and Erica had been the cynosure of all eyes in the BBNaija house due to their relationship, which later became a hot topic after the show ended. Fans have, however, continued to accuse Kiddwaya of not showing the needed commitment.
