Ned Nwoko, the Nigerian businessman, appeared to have reconciled with Laila Charani, his Moroccan wife.
Nwoko took to his Instagram page on Thursday to gush over photos of Laila and their kids while referring to them as his “beautiful babies”.
The post comes more than a year after Laila, who is Nwoko’s fifth wife, revealed she had divorced him.
She opened up about her marital crisis on November 2, 2021.
In December of that same year, the politician disclosed what prompted their split.
Ned narrated how an alleged affair on her part as well as ‘irreconcilable’ differences started when Laila went on holiday in London.
“She was in contact with a man. Laila was always on phone with a strange man, the relationship with the man started in January 2021. Laila met physically with the man in a hotel in London,” he had said.
“When she got to London, she abandoned the kids. No money was spent on them for clothes, in spite of financial provisions. She spent the money on herself. She did plastic surgery without informing her husband.”
In September 2022, Laila apologised to Nwoko, saying she has realised her mistake.
“This is to my entire Ned Nwoko family. I have realised that I made mistakes. They were not intentional. I have decided to apologise to my husband and other members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family,” she had said.
