Wunmi, the wife of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has made an emotional plea to her father-in-law, urging him to allow the late artist to be laid to rest.
Following Mohbad’s controversial passing, his remains were exhumed for forensic examination. However, despite the completion of the autopsy, his body remains in the morgue.
Expressing her frustration, Wunmi accused Mohbad’s father of deliberately delaying both the burial and the DNA test he previously demanded.
“He does not want the truth; he wants the conversation to continue because as long as it does, the money and support will keep coming,” she alleged.
Wunmi further claimed that certain individuals on social media have turned the tragedy into a source of profit, using Mohbad’s death to build platforms while spreading false narratives about her.
“They have made careers out of bullying me and my child. Some even pay my father-in-law a monthly salary from what they make online,” she added.

As the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death continues, fans and the public await further developments regarding his final rites.
