Real Madrid completed a historic comeback to beat Manchester City 3-1 on Wednesday and secure qualification to the Champions League final in Paris, where they will face Liverpool.
Former Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero commentated on the game between the two European giants for ESPN along with Oscar Ruggeri and Carlos Tevez.
The three men were analysing the game and discussed Real Madrid’s huge win at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Messi’s message to Aguero
As Santi Villahoz explained in MARCA Claro, Aguero read a message sent from Lionel Messi at the start of the second half of the extra time.
“Leo is writing to me,” Aguero told Tevez, who replied: “What is Leo saying?”
“Stop f**ing around, stupid… no way,” said Messi in reference to Real Madrid’s comeback.
“It’s crazy, they can’t win another game like that,” replied an astonished Tevez.
“We played and the truth is that…”
Aguero’s response to Messi
The former Manchester City striker recorded an audio to reply to Messi, who is currently plying his trade at Paris Saint-Germain.
What’s going on?” said Aguero.
“I’m here working and I’m actually shocked. The truth is that I can’t believe it. On top of that, I sent an audio to Ibai [Llanos] telling him: ‘You’re so lucky’ and they give a penalty. I can’t believe it.”
