Real Madrid have left star forward Kylian Mbappé out of their squad for Wednesday’s Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Real Sociedad due to a dental problem.
The French goal machine missed training on Tuesday, but coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that he would still travel with the team to San Sebastián.
Mbappé has been Madrid’s most lethal weapon this season, banging in 28 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions.
Also missing from the squad are midfielder Fede Valverde and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, both sidelined with minor fitness concerns. However, England star Jude Bellingham is back in action after serving a suspension in Sunday’s La Liga win over Girona.
Meanwhile, in the other semi-final, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid treated fans to a thrilling 4-4 draw on Tuesday night.
