Manchester United are reportedly targeting Ajax’s rising star, Abdellah Ouazane, who has been turning heads with his performances at the Under-17 African Cup of Nations. The Moroccan teenager, whose playing style has been compared to that of Jude Bellingham, has impressed scouts, and now United are contemplating making a move for him this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, United’s interest in Ouazane comes as part of their strategy to secure young talent amid a restricted transfer budget. While the club would need to sell players to fund new acquisitions, they believe Ouazane’s potential would not require a hefty investment.
Additionally, the report reveals that United are also keeping tabs on Ryan One, an 18-year-old striker from Sheffield United. One, who has represented Scotland at Under-19 level, has already made 14 senior appearances for the Blades.
With a packed schedule ahead, United’s next match is Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final second leg against Lyon.
