Manchester City booked their place in the FA Cup quarter finals with a 2-0 win at Peterborough on Tuesday night.
The Premier League leaders struggled to break past a stubborn defence in the first period, with the Championship’s bottom placed side putting in a respectable shift.
But the second half was a different story as City’s dominance began to overpower the hosts and, on the hour mark, the breakthrough arrived.
Phil Foden, fresh off the back of his winning goal at Everton, turned provider for Riyadh Mahrez who converted to give City the lead.
Six minutes later, they doubled their lead, as Foden assisted Jack Grealish.
The quarter-final draw will take place on Thursday, March 3.
