Austin Reaves led the Lakers with a spectacular 31-point performance, adding eight assists and seven rebounds. LeBron James contributed 25 points, eight assists, and six rebounds, while Luka Doncic had 29 points, nine assists, and eight boards in an all-round dominant display.
Grizzlies’ Comeback Falls Short
Memphis, playing their first game under interim coach Tuomas Iisalo, struggled early and fell behind by 20 points. However, Desmond Bane’s 29-point effort helped fuel a comeback push. Despite their late surge, the Grizzlies couldn’t complete the rally, handing Iisalo a debut loss with just nine games remaining in the regular season.
With the win, the Lakers improve their playoff positioning as the race for postseason seeding intensifies.
