The drama in Nollywood just got louder as popular Yoruba actress Laide Bakare publicly called out her colleague Eniola Badmus following a heated clash at a movie premiere. In a fiery video shared on her page, Laide didn’t hold back as she body-shamed Eniola and accused her of undergoing cosmetic surgery to enhance her backside.
Laide explained that the drama began when Eniola allegedly told the event’s cameraman not to record them together. According to her, this was not only disrespectful but a public denial of their friendship.
“I feel so pained that someone I helped grow in this industry is now treating me like this,” Laide said, adding that Eniola “likes to beg from rich people” and only mingles with those she sees as successful.
She also described herself as someone who doesn’t enjoy negative publicity and claimed she attended the premiere strictly to support fellow actress Eniola Ajao, not for any drama.
But things took a messier turn when Laide alleged that Eniola had slid into her DMs to call her an “animal.” She fired back hard:
“You live a fake life. Your backside is fake, your nakedness is horrible, and I’m much prettier than you.”
Social media has since exploded with reactions, with fans and industry watchers calling for both actresses to settle their differences privately.
