A suspect allegedly stabbed an Uber driver and stole his Toyota Camry on Saturday at 7:34 pm in the Ile-Zik area, Agege.
Confirming the incident, police spokesperson CSP Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the Uber driver picked up the suspect at NITEL, Old Abeokuta Road, Agege, heading to Marriott Hotel, GRA Ikeja.

However, during the trip, the suspect brought out a sharp knife and repeatedly stabbed the driver before making away with his car.
Acting swiftly, Lagos police officers traced the stolen vehicle to Oshodi, where the suspect was intercepted and arrested. The Uber driver is currently receiving treatment at a hospital, while investigations continue.
