The Speaker of the House, Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, read the two separate messages from the governor on the Executive Bills during Tuesday’s plenary.

The Bills seek to confer autonomy on the state legislature and judiciary for the management and control of recurrent and capital expenditures in line with the provision of the Nigerian Constitution as amended

Governor AbdulRazaq urged the House to give the Bills the usual quick consideration and passage.

Speaker Danladi-Salihu later referred the two Bills to Business and Rules Committee of the House, asking the committee to slate the Bills for first reading at the appropriate time.
