JID is officially back in his bag — and fans are eating it up. On Sunday, April 6, during Day 2 of Dreamville Fest, the Atlanta lyricist surprised the crowd with a live performance of a brand-new track titled “WRK”, sending anticipation for his upcoming album through the roof.
“I’ve been working on my attitude, don’t know what I’m ‘bout to do ‘bout it / But I know I’m ‘bout to act a fool, in a bad mood, so I’m taking it out on my work,” he rapped from the Shine Stage, in full lyrical beast mode.
And unlike past teases (yes, we’re still waiting on that Anycia collab), this time there’s a pre-save link — meaning fans might not have to wait too long to hear the studio version.
What We Know About JID’s Next Album — Forever & A Day
- The album is done — confirmed by JID himself during Paris Fashion Week in March.
- Tentatively titled Forever & A Day, it’s been described as a project years in the making.
- JID promises it’s dropping “really fking soon.”
- The album could feature production from Metro Boomin, as the duo’s long-rumored collab is reportedly still in motion.
