The business mogul joined the Facebook-owned platform in the early hours of Wednesday and amassed over 1.9 million followers almost immediately.

Jay Z also had Beyoncé, his wife — who currently has 216 million followers on the platform — followed him.

His first and only post on the platform was a photo of ‘The Harder They Fall’, a 2021 movie which he co-produced.

The award-winning musician also shared a premiere countdown clock for the movie premiere on his Instagram story.

The project features top movie stars including Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Lakeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo, and Deon Cole.

With numerous awards and recognition, Jay-Z has established himself as a prominent name in the global music landscape.

In 2019, he became the first hip-hop artist to attain billionaire status.

The rapper tied the knot with Beyoncé in 2008. The union has been blessed with three children — Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir.

Jay-Z had earlier said he and Beyoncé will not force their kids into show business.
