Gucci Branch, the former associate of Naira Marley, has addressed his rumoured connections with Marlian Records.
The death of Mohbad, a former Marlian Records signee, has continued to stir controversies on social media, prompting scrutiny of the music label and its associates.
In a recent Instagram post, Gucci Branch said he severed ties with Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian Records, a long time ago.
Branch, born Abubakar Musa, said he “ran for my life since 2019”. He also said he has been on his own since then.
“I heard they are searching for me, why are people searching for me? I ran for my life since 2019, I am lowkey now,” he wrote.
“I am not part of the Marlians neither am I affiliated with Zlatan Ibile or Jago. I am on my own.”
