Transport workers, along with some hoodlums, wielding machetes and knives have blocked Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, to protest against the Lagos State Taskforce.
They set up bonfires at Cele Bus Stop, causing traffic gridlock and making passengers heading to the port or Oshodi stranded.
According to reports, the hoodlums prevented commercial vehicles and motorcyclists on both side of the expressway from operating.
The protesters claimed task force officials routinely seized their vehicles and they pay huge sums before they are released.
