Lekan Osifeso, the Nigerian singer fondly referred to as Lojay, has come through with his new EP titled ‘Gangster Romantic’.
The Afro-pop singer took to his Instagram page to announce the release of the music project.
Lojay said the body of work is a reflection of experiences he has gathered through life, love, and heartbreak.
The ‘Monalisa’ crooner urged fans to listen to his story from the EP.
“Success comes with a lot of lessons… I learnt about life, love, and heartbreak. Gangster Romantic is a sonic reflection of my experiences,” he wrote.
“All I ask is that you listen to my side of the story, from top to bottom.”
Last month, the singer put out ‘Moto’, a track from the EP.
Other songs in the project are ‘Yahweh’, ‘Leader’, ‘Availabu’, ‘IYD’, ‘Ova’, and ‘Canada’ featuring DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, and Herc Cut The Lights.
The singer also employed the artistry of other music producers to deliver the body of work.
Lojay started to attract attention after the release of ‘LV N ATTN’, his 5-track EP, in 2021.
‘Monalisa’, one of the songs on the EP, brought him fame. He also featured Chris Brown, the Grammy award-winning American singer, for the song’s remix.
Lojay has continued to enjoy visibility on several charts including Apple Music, Spotify, and Shazam.
