Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, the Nigerian skit maker better known as Kiekie, has announced that she is pregnant.
On Tuesday, the 32-year-old online comedian put out a new song and video titled ‘L’oruko Jesu (Prayers for Oluwashonaolami)’ — featuring Akinpelu Girls, the gospel band — on her social media pages.
“Look who’s going to be a mummy? Me wey never fall dan inside rain before! One small drizzle bayi! I fell pregnant Danu Danu!” she captioned the video.
In the less than four-minute track directed by Dopeviews, Kiekie shows off her baby bump while praying for the unborn child who she called “Oluwashonaolami”.
“Ololufe Olorun ni o je/ His love will never depart from you/ Lai’si lala wa la l’aye/ You’ll sit on the table of kings and queens/ Unknown to many you’re the gift that’ll put a smile on their faces/ Omo alayo ni’o/ Wa je olu omo,” she sings in a mixture of Yoruba and English.
Since her announcement, many Nigerians — including celebrities — have flooded her comment section to send congratulatory messages.
