DDG has taken to social media to express frustration over his co-parenting struggles with Halle Bailey. In a YouTube video titled “She Won’t Let Me See My Son”, the rapper alleged that since their breakup, he hasn’t been able to spend enough time with their child, Halo, whom they secretly welcomed in 2023.
“I feel like I’m getting bullied. I’m constantly being called a secondary parent, not a primary parent,” DDG stated. He also claimed he has never had Halo for more than 72 hours at a time.
Co-Parenting Struggles and Court Battles?
DDG admitted that this issue has been ongoing since Halo was born, revealing that he may have to take legal action to ensure fair access to his son.
“Now, I gotta go to court, do all this extra s**t when it ain’t even gotta be like that, bro.”
According to him, one recent reason he was denied time with Halo was because the baby was sick. He offered to spend time with his son downstairs but was allegedly kicked out instead.
Public Reaction and Halle Bailey’s Silence
While DDG’s claims have sparked debates online, Halle Bailey has not yet responded to his allegations. The former couple confirmed their split in October 2024, with DDG stating that their love remained deep despite choosing to go their “separate ways.”
What are your thoughts on DDG’s situation? Should co-parenting issues be handled privately or discussed publicly? 🤔
