Nigerian music superstar Davido has been confirmed as a headliner for the 2025 Summerjam Festival, joining Jamaican reggae legend Vybz Kartel at the highly anticipated event set to take place in Germany from June 4–6, 2025.
This marks a consecutive year of Nigerian representation at the festival, as Burna Boy headlined in 2024. Other top-tier acts scheduled to perform include Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage, and other major reggae and dancehall stars.
Busy Start to 2025 & Upcoming Album Release
The five-time Grammy nominee has had an eventful start to 2025, recently announcing a new single, ‘Be There Still,’ set for release on March 15—his final drop before his much-anticipated album, ‘5ive,’ drops on April 18.

- The album will feature 17 tracks, maintaining the same number as his previous four albums.
- Already-released singles include ‘Awuke’ featuring YG Marley and ‘Funds’ featuring Chike and OdumoduBlvck.
- Omah Lay recently revealed that his collaboration with Davido on the album is a “perfect partnership.”
- Adekunle Gold has also teased a possible feature.
Davido described the album as being “straight from the heart,” hinting at an emotional and personal project for fans to enjoy.

Before gracing the Summerjam stage, Davido will also be competing in six categories at the 17th Headies Awards, including Artist of the Year.
