It took Cristiano Ronaldo just 13 minutes to score in his first Champions League game of the 2020/21 campaign, as the Portuguese forward netted the first goal of the group stage to put Manchester United ahead against Young Boys.
Ronaldo was teed up by his compatriot Bruno Fernandes and managed to beat David von Ballmoos with a low strike to break the deadlock.
This is the 16th season in a row that the Portuguese scores at least once in the Champions League as he has hit the back of the net in every campaign since 2006/07.
The former Real Madrid player netted a brace in his second debut with Manchester United last Saturday in their 4-1 victory over Newcastle.
