Conor McGregor has come out against fighters inviting their families to fights. The Notorius wanted to send, in this way, another message for Kamaru Usman.
On Saturday, at the UFC 278 event, Kamaru Usman lost by knockout to Leon Edwards in the fifth round. Edwards’ brutal head kick left the former champion unconscious on the canvas, surprising many fans and pundits, who were confident in Kamaru’s victory.
Usman’s daughter was present at the said evening and had to be taken out as she cried loudly when her father was knocked out.
Conor McGregor has posted a tweet about this event, in which he also made a criticism about Usman’s decision: “I am deeply sorry for this. I don’t advise bringing family at all.
Especially children. This is a different fight. I’ve been on both sides of this and I think going alone to the mission is the best. You can see the family again after the battle. It will definitely continue this way in the future,” he said.
McGregor continues his war with Kamaru Usman
The Notorius continues with his particular fight against Usman. And is that after being knocked out, McGregor mocked him through a publication on Twitter.
A fight between the two is likely to end up happening, given the history of pique and mockery that has existed between the two for some time, although at the moment it is unclear when such a fight could happen.
