Progress was never clear and after the intervention, the prognosis was reserved: “his condition, taking into account the very delicate findings in the surgery, is very critical and his prognosis is reserved. We insist, it is a very critical condition and we will continue to deploy everything he requires”, it was announced.
Tragic car accident
Rincón suffered a car accident when he ran a red light at an intersection on a street in Cali. The ex-player’s van crashed into a truck, leaving several people injured. Those involved were taken to different hospitals in the city.
The undersecretary of Transit of Cali, Edwin Candelo, informed that the driver of the public transport bus was given a breathalyzer test, which was negative. However, there is still no certainty as to who was driving at the time of the accident.

Rincón was one of the players of the Colombia generation that defeated Argentina 5-0 at the Monumental Stadium. The group included players such as Carlos Valderrama, Faustino Asprilla, Adolfo Valencia, Wilson Pérez, Óscar Córdoba, among others.
