Lisbon will host the remainder of the Champions League from the quarter-final stage onwards, and the final will take place on August 23.
The remainder of the Europa League will be held in Germany while the women’s Champions League is to be completed in San Sebastian and Bilbao.
The unplayed Champions League round of 16 return legs – Manchester City vs Real Madrid, Barcelona vs Napoli, Bayern Munich vs Chelsea and Juventus vs Lyon will be played as previously planned at the home grounds of the first leg’s visiting sides in a bid to provide fairness to the ties.
However, from the last eight of the competition onwards, each round will be a one-off encounter.
In the Europa League, two round of 16 ties – Roma vs Sevilla and Inter vs Getafe -will need to be played out as two-legged affairs, one at each side’s homes, while the remaining six second leg encounters of the same stage also need to be completed at their previously designated locations.
As with the Champions League, the rest of the Europa League beyond the last eight will be one-off affairs played in Germany.
