CAF Confederation Cup: MFM suffer shock home defeat

MFM FC were beaten at home on Sunday in the CAF Confederation Cup. The Olukoya Boys lost the first leg of the round of 16 encounter to Djoliba.

In spite of the eventual result, MFM were not expected to be troubled by Djoliba.

But warning lights started flashing as the away side took the game to the hosts and forced goalkeeper Ospino Egbe to make numerous saves.

The visitors dictated the pace of the game for long spells before scoring the sole goal of the game through Mahamadou Cisse in the 78th minute.

Djoliba will be confident of zooming into the group stage following the away win at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.
