In a Twitter post on Tuesday, the ‘African Giant’ crooner shared an artwork showing Portable dressed like a typical cleric.

He also said “deep down”, he would love to have the artwork — which appeared to be a photoshopped picture of Portable — as his new album’s cover.

Deep down I really want this to be my album cover. Love, Damini,” he wrote.

It remains to be seen if his tweet is meant to appreciate Portable or a dig at the singer who has enjoyed strange popularity in the past few months.

Burna Boy had earlier hinted that his sixth studio album would be released on July 2, 2022, his 31st birthday.

He also disclosed that the project would highlight his personal struggles.

“Love, Damini is a personal body of work. It’s about the ups and downs, the growth, the L’s and W’s. I’m excited to share this journey and roll [it] out with you all,” he had written.

The ‘Ye’ singer has established himself as a household name in the global music landscape with several awards and recognition.

Portable is also pulling the weight of fame. He gained traction with his hit track ‘Zazoo Zeh’ featuring Olamide, the rapper, and Poco Lee, the dancer.

The singer, born Habeeb Okikiola, has secured a plethora of endorsements as well as a huge fan base.

He recently travelled to the United Kingdom (UK) for his first-ever international tour.
