Nigerian international Bright Osayi-Samuel is set to part ways with Fenerbahce at the end of the season after failing to reach a new contract agreement with the Turkish club.
According to Mackolik, negotiations broke down after the 27-year-old defender demanded a significant pay raise, which Fenerbahce was unwilling to meet. Osayi-Samuel, who currently earns under €3 million per year, will now leave as a free agent when his contract expires this summer.
The former Queens Park Rangers star has been linked with a return to England, with Premier League clubs Fulham and Crystal Palace reportedly interested in securing his services.
Osayi-Samuel joined Fenerbahce in January 2021 and has since been a key figure in the squad. However, with contract talks now off the table, his departure from the Super Lig giants appears inevitable.
