It has been confirmed that Benjamin Mendy will remain in jail at least until January 2022 after having been charged with four counts of rape and one of sexual assault and having been denied bail.
Apart from the fact that he will stand trial in January, Manchester City took immediate action and suspended the player, and have also removed all products related to the Frenchman from their official stores.
